Big Boy stops in Greeley – Colorado Model Railroad Museum
The Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 will be making two whistle-stops at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum in Greeley, Colorado, as part of a limited 2025 tour. The first stop will be on Thursday, July 17, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:01 p.m. MDT, and the second stop will be on Saturday, July 19, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. MDT. The locomotive will be traveling from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Denver, Colorado on July 17, and returning on July 19.

11:30 a.m. – 12:01 p.m. MDT: Whistle-stop in Greeley, Colorado.
Arrival in Denver, Colorado.

8:30 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. MDT: Whistle-stop in Greeley, Colorado.
10:30 a.m. MDT: Arrives in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
There will be no public access to the locomotive in Cheyenne or Denver due to security and safety concerns, according to the Union Pacific Railroad.
