The annual Christmas Party took place on December 10, 2024, in place of our usual monthly meeting. Members bring a guest, and the celebration includes lots of food – we meet at the Golden Corral, an all you can eat buffet – after all.

Gift Exchange
After dinner, we have our gift exchange steal. Each member brings a ~ $25 wrapped gift that is modeling related, and numbers are drawn to determine the order that gifts are selected. The first person selects a gift and opens it. The second person can either choose a new gift or steal the first gift. Then the third can either get a new gift or steal one of the opened gifts, and so on. If a gift is stolen, then the “victim of the theft” gets to open a replacement gift. Gifts can be stolen three times before they are locked and can no longer be reappropriated. Sometimes it gets pretty cutthroat. But everyone leaves with a new kit or something to add to their stash.
